GWD – that’s me Ginette Whitten-Day. I am an experienced writer, editor and communications specialist.

I work with corporations, governments, not-for-profits and small business owners to help them tell their business stories with clarity.

Here are some of the ways I could help you.

Writing and editing

  • Edit your complex, technical or business document into a tone and style that those you are writing for can understand.
  • Write new material for your website, write your blog, or start from scratch and work with a web designer to create your site from start to finish.
  • Write the brochure or newsletter that you’ve been meaning to get to for the last six months.
  • Write your speech or presentation so it sounds like you, only better.

Communications and issues management

  • Develop a communications or issues management plan that will get your business story to the right people at the right time.  Here are some of the questions I would ask.
    • What are your objectives, what is it you want to achieve?
    • What is it you want say and to whom?
    • How will you get your message out to your audience?
    • How will you gage success?
  • Put the plan into action, for example, write the brochure or web copy, organize and stage the event, write your speech or presentation.
